Hello October
The season starts to slow down, cold nights are among us, and heating finally turns on.
In the salon we have started to prepare for the next coming months with the big C word. Dare I say it!
I honestly say it every year, but this year has flashed by super quick. We have already started planning our Christmas do and Secret Santa. But as you know it, nothing stays a secret with us girls.
With Upton now being stable and, on its feet, my time is split between both salons. Having great managers in place at Upton Mandy and Chloe are slowly adapting to their new roles, meaning I can come home to our Abington salon.
Upton is going as well as it can be. I’m super pleased with the new staff we have and for everyone slotting into their work.
Behind the scenes, I am delighted to share with our amazing clients, that Divine Nails & Beauty Studio has been named 5 years in a row for “The Best Nail Salon in Northampton” in The Three Best Rated Awards 2023!
That being said, if you haven’t guessed already by my excitable social media posts, we only gone and been shortlisted as a FINALIST in this year’s UK Beauty Awards 2023 for

- Myself for Best Semi Permanent Brows
I am also beyond grateful to have been nominated for the following awards at the Beauty and Aesthetics Awards 2023

This is such a MASSIVE achievement for me, both personally and professionally, I like to give a HUGE THANK YOU to all our loyal clients past and present who has helped and supported us over the years.
We pride ourselves on our top-quality treatments provided by our professional nail technicians and beauty therapists, and combined with our five-star customer service we can proudly say it’s great to be recognised for the work we do.
Entering competitions like this can be daunting and discouraging because there are just so many amazing artists across the UK but to become even shortlisted is an incredible feeling. A feeling that we are actually good at what we do.
To see that from my staff and to see that others recognise their work is just phenomenal.
They still can’t get their head around it themselves. Hopefully this pushes them even further and to give them the confidence boost in other areas.
Hopefully we find out shortly if we have been shortlisted in the finals. So make sure you stay tuned for my next blog in November.
