Hello January!

Wait… It’s 2024?! Where has the past year gone? I literally feel like I was just reflecting on the craziness of 2020 and fast forward 2023 has been just as wild.

Happy New Year to all our wonderful clients. Hope you’ve had an amazing Christmas with your family and friends and a safe and happy start to 2024!

The past three years feel like the biggest rollercoaster filled with so many lows but also some real highs. From giving birth to new salon launch, new services, and a bigger team. I’m sure you guys feel the same, but the pandemic has really changed my perspective and taught me about what’s truly important. I treasure the little things more than ever and I prioritize doing things for myself and practicing self-love.

Above all, I am beyond humbled by all the support you guys have given me, my family, and Divine. You honestly inspire and motivate me to be better every single day.

So, with this blog I wanted to touch on our new clients and to our clients that are new to our beauty industry…Hellooo there!

This blog I want to dedicate to the best nail extension type.

There’s lots of newbies and lots of information that is new now with the industry forever changing.

So before considering getting a basic manicure and viewing our service options. You will be blown away with the different types of extensions or manicures we have now!

I know it can be overwhelming, so it’s always wise to consider the application procedure before deciding what is ideal for you! Here’s a quick breakdown to help you:

The most often used system for our nail industry! In this procedure nail tips are stuck on to your natural nail to extend them at whichever length you desire. Acrylic powder and liquid monomers are used to create unique nail styles and shapes.

Acrylic nails are the most harding nails and very strong.

Once shaped and buffed we can apply any gel colour or art on top.

This treatment is recommended to come back for infills in 3 to 4 weeks. This is where we would change the colour of your choice and add more Acrylic where it has grown.

Gel polish is cured (dried) under a UV lamp. Our gel polish service comes with a mini manicure to make the cuticle neat and trim the nails to your requested shape.

This is applied on natural nails and should last 2 to 4 weeks.

The faster growing nail system. This is also applied by curing under a UV lamp. This lightweight system allows your natural nails to grow effortlessly. A thick gel is spread over the nails to create depth and perfect shaped nails. This treatment can also be infilled after 3 to 4 weeks.

I hope this has helped you find your best nail service option with us. Should you have any more questions please do not hesitate to contact my beautiful Divine team.
