Hi! My name is Mai and I own and run the operation of Divine Nails & Beauty Studio.
I’m originally from London and married to my childhood sweetheart Russell who I have 4 amazing children with Jasmine 11, Jayden 10, Isabella 6, Tyler 21 months and not to forget our crazy french bulldog Gucci who is 20 months.
I moved up to Northampton when I was 22 in 2010 to start my new family life and business venture, I appreciated there was a market available for me to start my own nail and beauty studio which I always dreamed off. After the years my clientele grew and my team was expanding I then saw an opportunity across the road to expand and grow further, everyone always said to me you can’t be in 2 places at once but having this opposite the existing salon made it possible.
Since then, I’ve been so busy running 2 salons’, my family and managing the team so as you can imagine, it’s pretty nuts to me that it’s grown into what it has today.
With that said, I love my job and wouldn’t have it any other way. I’ve been doing nails and beauty for over 10 years and it’s become a part of my life and being part of the community has been so welcoming that I do not want to give it up.
As my team was growing I decided then to take an interest in Microblading. A new passion ignited when I had the procedure done myself.
The quality of work was phenomenal and the difference it made to me aesthetically and emotionally was life changing. I now wish to give you all that very same feeling. As a result of learning from the best, you can have every confidence you will leave me with the perfect brows you have always wanted.
I specialise in all things BROWS, offering Microblading, Phisombre, Ombre Blush Brow, Li-FT Pigment Removal and all Semi Permanent Make-up services.
I am a qualified PhiBrows Royal Microblading Artist. I qualified under the guidance of world renowned PhiAcademy Grand Master Dovile Zilinskaite.
Following my initial qualifications, I wanted to hone my skills even further, so I went on to complete Advanced Perfection Training with Master Vilma Karaliute. In 2015 I then trained in PhiContour with Grand Master Thorsten Kreiling and Master Kerstin Ellmer to study lips, eyeliner and ombre brows. To become the 1st Phicontour Artist in Northampton. However, still so eager to learn I furthered my knowledge and skills with Master Agnes Permanent Make Up to advanced lips and ombre brows. Studying new techniques, new ways of improving myself and to keep up to date with the latest trends and pigments in the market. The right training path was so important to me as I wanted to learn from the best in the country.
In 2021 to up my brow game and keeping up with the beauty industry trends I went on to train and qualified in Phisombre Brows with renowned PhiAcademy Grand Master Dovile Zilinskaite. Thereafter I qualified and became an Ombre Blush Brow and Li-FT Tattoo Removal Artist with the amazing Clarissa Stefania who is the founder and driving force behind The Ombre Blush Brow®, to deliver new techniques of Ombre Brow.
My work is highly recognised in the Semi Permanent Make Up industry and I am fortunate enough to become the first PhiBrow Royal Artist in Northampton.
My expertise and knowledge were noticed, and I was honored to be asked to assist in teaching classes with Grand Master Dovile Zilinskate. UK’s biggest master of Phibrows in London.
A Royal Artist is an individual who has been awarded this title for excelling in the Microblading industry as well as showing high levels of professionalism and skill in their work. With this title I am qualified to train students to become better and assist other masters in their academies.
